Tributes paid ahead of funeral for DWTS judge Captain Sparkle, 54
HUNDREDS of mourners are expected to gather for the funeral of Julian Benson today.
Crowds attended to pay their respects to the former Dancing With The Stars judge at his wake yesterday.
Mr Benson passed away “very peacefully” at Dublin’s St Vincent’s Hospital on April 18 after a life-long battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
His death came just months after receiving a kidney transplant.
The 54-year-old’s remains reposed at Fanagan’s Funeral Home and crowds gathered to say their final farewell to the star, who was nick-named Captain Sparkle on the RTE show.
