MOSSY LAWLER has played in a 3-0 game between Connacht and Munster - but he’s expecting a high-scoring thriller in today’s historic collision in Castlebar.
Lawler, a Munster squad player during their glorious two-time Heineken Cup winning spell, spent eight years on Connacht’s coaching staff before rejoining the Reds in 2023 as attack and skills boss.
Traditionally there hasn’t been much between the provinces when they’ve clashed and both sides have been able to recall their Ireland stars for this one, with Craig Casey also back at scrum-half for Munster after a knee injury suffered in December.
