MORE OF THE SHANE FOR RORY
Irish Daily Star
|April 23, 2025
RORY Mcllroy is back in action this week as he and Shane Lowry defend their Zurich Classic of New Orleans title at TPC Louisiana.
This is a unique team event featuring 80 pairs of players who team up for two rounds of foursomes and two of fourballs, Last year Mcllroy and Lowry finished on 25 under par but it took a play-off to see off 400/1 outsiders, Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer.
Ryan Brehm and Mark Hubbard were in third place.
There's no reason the Irish pair can't successfully defend their title and they are 7/2 favourites.
