MICAH: ROD'S KO KILLS OFF A CITY PREM TITLE BID
Irish Daily Star
|August 13, 2025
MICAH RICHARDS reckons Manchester City are already out of the Premier League title race because Rodri is sidelined until October.
The Ballon d'Or winner missed most of last season after rupturing his ACL as City failed to win a trophy.
The Spaniard (above) suffered a groin injury at the FIFA Club World Cup which will rule him out until the international break next month - and perhaps even longer. City spent heavily in January - and have done so again in the summer - but ex-defender Richards thinks Rodri is still the key to the team.
