Brennan says Leinster win is only the start
BOSS Ger Brennan hailed "incredible captain" Sam Mulroy as he declared Louth are going "to win much more" after ending 68 years of hurt to land the Leinster title at Croke Park yesterday.
Mulroy hit 1-7, including six of the last eight points of the game, as Louth landed a first provincial title since 1957 and wiped away the hurt of their 2010 defeat by Meath.
A late Joe Sheridan goal, which should have been disallowed, when he dived over the line denied them in that decider 15 years ago, but they made amends for it here.
