Running man Grant puts in the extra miles

DANNY GRANT wants fans of Shamrock Rovers to know he is putting in the hard yards for them and has the stats to prove it.

Better known as a winger during his time at Bohs and Huddersfield Town, Grant has been converted into a wing-back at the Hoops.

Neil Farrugia's winter move to Barnsley left a void that Stephen Bradley had to fill and Rovers moved quickly for Grant once he became a free agent after leaving Bohs.

Bradley is convinced he can get the Lucan lad, 25, firing again after an underwhelming season last year and Grant is quickly getting up to speed on his new duties.
