Community gathers in silent grief after mother, father and son were found dead
HUNDREDS of people attended a candlelit vigil last night for three family members who were found dead earlier this week.
Devastated members of the community gathered at Stonetown Community Walking Track in Co Louth shortly after 9pm to honour Mark, Louise and Evan O'Connor who were found in their home on Monday.
The memorial was organised by Father Gerry Campbell of Our Lady Queen of Peace Pastoral Area.
Speaking to mourners he said: "We gather tonight to carry a sorrow too heavy for words from this quiet and tranquil corner of County Louth, the loss of Mark, Louise and Evan has sent ripples of grief across our parish and across this land.
