New Dalymount key to Bohs chief's big plans for the club
WHEN it comes to how the League is in a great place, we all know Damien Duff's contribution to the upturn.
That's a fact.
Next we have all seen the transformation of Shamrock Rovers from being a club without a home to a powerhouse once again in football.
Again, no one can dispute this.
But for me, no one has made more of an impact on League of Ireland football than the brilliant Daniel Lambert.
This guy — the chief operator officer of Bohs — is a genius.
You go to his LinkedIn profile and it simply says, Bohemian Football Club.
This is a guy whose life is so full of adventures yet he has made his football club central to his life.
That is why we need certainty about Dalymount Park because too many people in Irish Government have forgotten that Dalymount Park will always be the home of Irish football.
We all know that the club has been rebuilt by young creative minds like Lambert. What I like about Daniel is he is able to respect the fact it is a democratic members club where everyone has a voice.
