Arteta hails statement victory as title rivals slip up again
MIKEL ARTETA hailed Eberechi Eze's "unbelievable" winner yesterday, and claimed it was Arsenal's best result of the season.
Gunners hero Eze scored a spectacular scissor-kick against his former club to settle a hard-fought, scrappy affair which strengthened Arsenal's grip at the top of the table..
The Gunners saw Declan Rice, William Saliba and Riccardo Calafiori all go off injured, but Arsenal held on for a precious win after a 10th clean sheet in 13 games in all competitions this season.
