KEOGHAN THE KEY FOR CATS

THE Leinster Final wasn't a classic, but it was entertaining.

Kilkenny were the better team in their workrate and they had really good variety in their play.

Their ability to win the 50/50 balls was the difference.

It was a low-scoring first half with both full-back lines doing well, especially Kilkenny.

The only real difference was the Martin Keoghan goal after a great save by Eanna Murphy. Other than that it was just a battle.

Huw Lawlor at full-back was exceptional and Mikey Carey did really well defensively and going forward. They stood out for me.
