Chris targets a comeback for Forest
NOTTINGHAM Forest striker Chris Wood says his current injury issue has been one of the "most frustrating" he has dealt with in his career.
The 34-year-old has been out of action with a knee problem since mid-October. It was initially hoped he'd be absent for around a fortnight, but he has only recently returned to being on the grass.
Wood admits it is virtually impossible to set a target date for a potential comeback due to the nature of the issue.
Dealing with that uncertainty has been the toughest aspect of his spell on the sidelines.
"It's OK. It's not too bad. I'm getting there, slowly," he said.
"Unfortunately, it's been a longer one than all of us hoped. It's one of those where you've got to take a bit of time with it to make sure it's right and make sure it stays right for the rest of my life.
