DEFIANT Gavin Coombes insists Munster are still in the URC to win it as they battle to make the play-offs.

Starting at the Arms Park against Cardiff on Friday night, the Reds have three regular games left to make sure they finish in the top eight, thus ensuring Champions Cup rugby for next season.

Currently in seventh place level on 40 points with eighth-placed Stormers - and with Ulster and Connacht among the teams chasing furiously behind - Munster can leapfrog their opponents this week.

With home games to come against Ulster and Benetton, the Reds will fancy themselves to get the victories they still need.

After winning in La Rochelle before bowing out to Bordeaux in the Champions Cup, Coombes is adamant the target is to regain the crown they won in 2023.
