We need an up-to-date trophy photo to go with the old black-and-white ones says Spurs keeper
GUGLIELMO VICARIO has told his Tottenham team-mates to change the course of history and stick a picture on the club's wall of honour that is not black and white.
Rather than shy away from the weight of the past, head coach Ange Postecoglou has been hammering home the need to flip the “Spursy” narrative - born out of the team failing to live up to expectations - on its head in tonight's Europa League final against Manchester United.
That has included Postecoglou pointing out most of the celebratory shots on their stadium walls were taken before the age of multi-colour photography. That has struck a chord with goalkeeper Vicario, who said: “Winning would be massive for the players, for the staff and especially for the fans. We know we can create history for this football club.
