Kop star Cody wants Champions League glory after painful PSG exit
LIVERPOOL forward Cody Gakpo has his sights on Champions League glory with the Premier League champions.
The Dutch forward wants to go for gold in Europe as well as at home after he helped guide the Reds to their 20th English league title.
Arne Slot's side suffered a last-16 exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain (right) in the Champions League in March. But they went on to win the Premier League at a canter.
Now they've spent almost £300million this summer with Alexander Isak potentially still to come.
Gakpo believes Liverpool can now target a seventh European Cup as well.
"We were all very proud at the time, still are of what we did last season, but it also gave us a lot of hunger that we want to do it again and again," Gakpo said.
