Freed Rob still can't leave Iraq

AN INNOCENT man released from prison in Iraq two months ago has still not been allowed to return home to Ireland.
Officials at the Department of Foreign Affairs said the family of engineer Robert Pether, 49, are still waiting for his return, four years after he was jailed.
Sources told The Star there could be developments as soon as “next week”.
