Final moments of tragic heli crash family

WITNESSES yesterday told of the horrific moment a tourist helicopter broke up and fell from the sky killing a family of five and the pilot.

Siemens executive Agustin Escobar, his energy technology company manager wife Merce Camprubi Montal and their three children were celebrating a birthday when tragedy struck.
Photos showed the family smiling as they boarded just before the flight took off for the flight over New York City.
About 18 minutes in, the 36-year-old pilot was left helpless after the main rotor and tail boom were severed from the body, which then plunged into the Hudson river.
Footage showed the blades still spinning as they fell separately towards the water.
