EMERY: FOOTBALL'S BIGWIGS MUST RESPECT THE FANS

UNAI Emery has spoken of protecting the fans after Aston Villa's final home match of the season against Tottenham was controversially brought forward two days to next Friday.

The fixture change came after a request from Spurs, to give them extra time to prepare for the Europa League final against Manchester United the following Wednesday.
The move has not gone down well with Villa supporters, and Villa boss Emery (right) said: "Respect our fans. This is the most important.
"For me, the decision to play on Friday or to play on Sunday, this poor decision is not relevant. We can play Friday, we can play Sunday.
