EASTER MONDAY BURIAL FOR STAB VICTIM

A MAN who was fatally stabbed following an alleged altercation outside a pub earlier this week will be laid to rest on Easter Monday.

Daniel O'Sullivan, 32, passed away from his injuries after he was allegedly stabbed in the stomach on the North Main Street of Youghal in Co Cork shortly before 10pm on Monday.

Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene and paramedics worked on him on the ground before moving him to an ambulance.

He was brought to Cork University Hospital, where he was declared dead.

Mr O'Sullivan was a native of Mallow but was living in Youghal and had also resided in Waterford and Cork city.
