DON'T PANIC!

HUW JONES urged the Lions not to press the panic button in their final two warm-up games before the first Test against the Wallabies.

- ADAM HATHAWAY

The centre stated his case to face the Aussies on July 19 with two tries in Saturday's 21-10 win over the Waratahs but was one of the few who did.

The Lions looked like they were trying to impress boss Andy Farrell with an eye to getting into the Test side, rather than play as a team and let that take care of itself, as they constantly squandered chances.

Farrell's tourists face the Brumbies on Wednesday in Canberra, before a clash with an ANZAC XV in Adelaide on Saturday. Then the talking stops and the business part of the trip begins.

And Jones insists the best way to prepare for that is to shelve any thoughts of Brisbane and get on with the job of putting the next two sides away.
