Sheehan and Co will not let Blues kick in after losing three finals in succession

- DEREK FOLEY

DAN'S CUP STILL HALF FULL

THE Champions Cup is a completely different animal according to Ireland star Dan Sheehan.

And it is a tournament that takes on even greater importance if you are a Leinster player insists the soon to be British and Irish Lion.

The Blues have negotiated their way to three successive finals only to come away empty-handed in all of them.

And while this hardly suggests Leinster are at their most vulnerable post Six Nations, it does hint that the task is gathering baggage.

Leinster meet Harlequins at Croke Park this Saturday, a game for which they are firm favourites, their form on paper far superior with nothing that should be unduly worrisome and yet.

Sheehan said: "Obviously, there is what has gone on in the last couple of years in the Champions Cup.

"We've done a good job in it the last few years in these sort of weeks, making sure we just focus on it game by game - doing a job to get ourselves to the next week.

"I think nothing really has to change massively in our mindset that way. We're looking forward to it but we've just focused on this week and will take care of next week, whatever happens."
