MARK Coleman expects Cork's new management to retain the exciting brand of hurling which has seen supporters flock behind their team.

Pat Ryan's tenure brought the traditional three-man full-forward line back into fashion after a spell of two-man inside lines becoming the mainstream approach.

Their use of long, direct supply helped to dismantle Limerick's drive for five, while they employed short puck-outs and a running blueprint on other occasions.
