BRUNO IS CAPTAIN PATHETIC

United will get nowhere with Bruno as skipper

BRUNO Fernandes as captain of Manchester United is an absolute disgrace.

There were 83 minutes on the clock against West Ham on Thursday and United, 1-0 up, just had to see the game out.

Taking three points against the Hammers - a team in the relegation zone - would put United level on points with ‘title contenders’ Chelsea.

But they couldn't hold on because Captain Pathetic Fernandes didn't do his job, although West Ham skipper Jarrod Bowen did do his.

A corner to defend and Fernandes was missing in action when Soungoutou Magassa scored his first ever Premier League goal.

A cardinal sin for defending any corner is not to win the first contact.

That was the job of Fernandes but not for the first time, he was missing in action.

Bowen won the header against Fernandes and two seconds later Magassa scored only his second ever goal at professional level.

The previous one was for Monaco B.

After the game I expected Fernandes to be everywhere apologising for his mistake.

True leaders take responsibility, put their hands up and accept responsibility.

Why then could Bruno not find the spirit and courage to do his job, win the header and lead United to a vital three points?

Because he's Bruno Fernandes, that’s why.

Great player but Captain Pathetic.
