Breffni can rise after a Rossies hit

With Monaghan all but assured of an immediate return to the top flight, the Breffni county brought their promotion push to the final day with a deserved success 0-22 to 0-20 victory.

Raymond Galligan’s side fought back from a four-point deficit early in the second half to turn the game around and take the Rossies’ hopes of returning to Division One out of their own hands.
