Tuchel is doing the same and yet it is clearly a gamble for a German boss to go to war with his Real Madrid superstar, demand that the fans get more excited and supportive, and show the dressing-room that he makes the decisions, Period.
It is unthinkable that, if fit, Bellingham will not go to the World Cup so maybe it's a smart move to have a war during qualification and show Bellingham that whilst at his best he can be a big asset, Tuchel’s England can win without him.
No one can be bigger than the team. This England side now has some real quality and competition for places.
Bellingham is a phenomenal talent but he's yet to prove he can be that special player that can be the star man who others want to follow.
