... you may want to sneak a peek at this ultimate festival to-do list
HYROX is fast approaching and the Dublin event is a five-day extravaganza taking place at the RDS in Ballsbridge.
So if you are lucky enough to have nabbed a ticket for one of the days between November 12 and 16, chances are you are well on your way to completing a structured and rigorous training programme.
Either that or you are hoping to wing it - not a great plan when it comes to such a challenging event.
Regardless of whether you are one of the lucky Dublin participants or you have an eye on an event abroad later this year or early in 2026, Fitter Happier has come together with Net World Sports to come up with a HYROX explainer and to-do list.
HYROX is fast becoming one of the world's most talked-about hybrid fitness challenges, seeing more than three-and-a-half million global Google searches last month alone.
But more interest means more first-timers. So, how long does it really take to get HYROX-ready?
Fitness ambassador Jeremy McConnell and trend expert Anwen Davies, from sports and training equipment retailer Net World Sports, fill us in.
"HYROX hits the sweet spot between gym training and endurance racing," says Anwen.
"It appeals to people who want something measurable and competitive, without needing to be elite athletes.
"It's part race, part performance test, and the social side plays a huge part too.
"The events have atmosphere, community, and a shared sense of 'we're all in this together'. That's what keeps people coming back."
For those unfamiliar with HYROX, what is it?
