914 speeding tickets revoked over 'human error'

MORE than 900 speeding fines from one camera have been revoked over “human error” around processing the location of the alleged offences.

It means almost 2,800 sanctions and associated penalty points on the N25 in Kilkenny between May 30 and June 30 have been rescinded.

A total of 914 speeding fixed charge notices were issued over this period.

Of that total, 128 were paid and penalty points applied but these will now be repaid and revoked.
