AN AWARD-WINNING Irish director has been invited back to film at Emmerdale after shooting explosive storyline scenes on the UK soap.

Eamonn Norris was at the helm of four episodes and has been asked to return to work on more episodes on the BAFTA-nominated drama, set around a tight-knit Yorkshire community.
The Co Meath man is no stranger to TV drama, having directed Irish shows Ros na Run and Fair City over the last 10 years.
