671 caught speeding in Slow Down day blitz

GARDAI yesterday caught 671 motorists speeding on National Slow Down Day.
-
The 24-hour bi-monthly crackdown aimed at forcing drivers to obey the law as we enter the summer.
Some of the worst offenders were motorists doing 153kph in 120kph zone on the M7 in Nenagh Co Tipperary.
Another driver was recorded at 144kph in a 100kph zone on the N11 in Newcastle, Co Wicklow.
