14 held after Mother of all protests

FOURTEEN people were arrested at Leinster House yesterday following a vigil organised by "Mothers Against Genocide".

The Garda Press Office confirmed three men had been charged and are before the courts.

Women gathered outside Leinster House on Mother's Day to call on the Government to do more about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

They staged a sleep-out on Kildare Street, which involved hanging up pictures of Palestinian children who had been killed as a result of Israeli aggression on the front gate of Leinster House.
