'You don't care about struggling families'

McDonald blasts Martin over inflationary pressures

TAOISEACH Micheal Martin has clashed with Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald in the Dail over inflationary pressures on families.

Ms McDonald accused the Government of preparing to throw families “under the bus” in the upcoming budget.

It comes after a new survey showed that up to 12% of families will seek out loans to pay for back to schools costs.

Ms McDonald told the Taoiseach he “couldn't care less” about the cost pressures on families.
