...and President Trump will be centre stage just like he was doing Rumbelows Cup draw on Saint and Greavsie

- BY JOHN CROSS Chief Football Writer in Washington

THE last time Donald Trump did a draw it was for the fifth round of the Rumbelows Cup.

Thirty-four years later, Trump is US President and all eyes will be on the most powerful man in the world today. You may remember back in 1991, Trump drew the balls in a bizarre stunt on the Saint and Greavsie show at Trump Tower in New York.

This time, Trump will take centre stage at the Kennedy Centre when Thomas Tuchel and England will discover their opponents at the most spectacular World Cup draw in history.

The Village People will perform their song 'YMCA', which is fitting because the disco hit became a theme tune at Trump's election rallies. FIFA also plans to unveil its new "Peace Prize" - with Trump widely expected to be the recipient for his work in brokering a ceasefire in the Middle East.

The full schedule is yet to be unveiled, but it is widely expected Trump will make an address in Washington ahead of next summer's tournament, which is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
