Pete's back on his feet.. thanks to lots of sleep

- BY KAY HARRISON

ROCK'N'ROLL hellraiser Pete Doherty has found a new addiction - getting a good night's sleep.

The former Libertines frontman was notorious for his chaotic, drug-fuelled lifestyle in the noughties.

He then moved to France and piled on the pounds after becoming hooked on cheese.

Now, after a health scare, the much slimmer star says he has made serious lifestyle changes, including catching up on decades of shuteye.

He said: “I get nine to 10 hours’ sleep a night now.

“I get up at 5am to walk the dog, then back to bed. And then have a lovely siesta too.”

Pete added he was much improved since getting all that “poison” out of his body.
