DAN CLEARY saw Shelbourne clinch the title on his phone last season and swore he wouldn't go through that again.
The Reds pipped the Hoops to the league with a win in Derry on the final day, capping a long-awaited return to the top under Damien Duff.
Domestically, Rovers were never at their best last year but Shels made such hard work of getting over the line that the Hoops still had a chance to hoodwink them on that final day.
They were at home to Waterford and were on track to lift the trophy until Harry Wood turned everything Shels' way with a late winner.
