Irish Daily Mirror
|February 02, 2026
ELENA RYBAKINA is hungry for more after ending a three-and-a-half-year wait to lift her second Grand Slam title.
The No.5 seed (left) rallied from 0-3 down in the deciding set to beat two-time former champion Aryna Sabalenka 6-4 4-6 6-4 and be crowned the Australian Open champion.
Kazakhstan's Rybakina, 26, lifted her maiden Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2022.
