IT WAS a day for records at Ewood Park as Valerien Ismael swerved an unwanted one and Will Still sounded like a broken one.

Rovers fought back to win thanks to late goals from Ryan Alebiosu and Andri Gudjohnsen (above) to seal a first victory at their own ground and avoid posting the worst start to a home campaign in the club's long history.

Sean McLoughlin reckons Ismael's side can go on a run after finally breaking their duck to climb out of the bottom three.

"It can change the momentum," said defender McLoughlin. "We're a team who have the quality to go on a run of winning games.
