FRIENDS and loved ones have shared their memories after the sudden death of a pilot who “left a lasting impression on everyone he met”.

- BY RUAIRI SCOTT BYRNE and THOMAS LAWRANCE

Evan Hill, 25, from Dublin, tragically passed away after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage in his sleep on Friday, September 19.

Evan, whose father Professor Arnold Hill is the chairman of Breast Cancer Ireland, had only recently completed his training to be a pilot at Atlantic Flight Training Academy in Cork.

The flight training organisation paid an emotional tribute to the former Belvedere College student, who successfully completed his first solo flight at Waterford Airport in April.
