Tourist hurt in Temple Bar dies

A TOURIST who suffered a severe brain injury injured following an alleged assault has died.
London-based Anthony Herron had been in a critical condition since the incident in Dublin's Temple Bar in August - and had been transferred to a UK hospital, where he passed away at the weekend.
A Garda spokesman told The Star: “The man (40s) injured following a serious assault in Temple Bar on August 21 2025 passed away in the UK on Saturday.”
