TIERNEY SAYS NANCY NEEDS PATIENCE AT CELTIC FOR HIS NEW SYSTEM TO WORK

Nancy has stepped into the Hoops hotseat and immediately set about implementing his own ideas and styles.

Naturally, it will take time for some of the Frenchman's philosophies and alterations to bed-in and members of the squad will have to adjust to changed demands.

In Tierney's case, however, it won't be anything new when it comes to his position.

For his first game at the club, Nancy deployed a back three with the Scotland defender on the left-side of that rearguard unit.
