CELTS SKIPPER IN EUROPEAN CALL TO ARMS
CALLUM McGREGOR has urged Celtic to stick together - as furious fans chanted “sack the board" after their Champions League stalemate.
A frustrating 0-0 draw with Kairat Almaty in the first leg of their playoff on Wednesday sparked anger at Parkhead over the club's lack of transfer business.
Supporters turned on chairman Peter Lawwell and chief executive Michael Nicholson as another European night ended in frustration.
But skipper McGregor has been here before - and insists the players must shut out the noise and rally together.
He said: “We have to stick together. The strength of this club has been when were together. So many good moments.
“Even in the bad moments, we have to stick together. And we've drawn the game. We never played as well as what everyone hoped we would. The players are the same.
“We go home and were as upset about the game as anyone.
