THE Traitors producers had to evict spiders living in the basement of Slane Castle before filming the series.
The Irish version of the hit show - hosted by Siobhan McSweeney - is set to air on RTE on Sunday. Filmed on the grounds of Slane Castle, Kite Entertainment boss Darren Smith revealed they had to relocate spiders from the Co Meath venue before filming.
"They now live in the Burren. They don’t keep in touch," he said jokingly.
