Revellers knock back millions more in booze
MUSIC fans and racegoers splurged €7.2m extra on booze and €1.3m more on suncare as they partied in the August sunshine, new figures reveal.
Data from analysis firm Worldpanel by Numerator showed festivals, sellout concerts and the Galway Races all contributed to grocery spending soaring by an additional €68.2m this month.
