SEEMINGLY innocent emojis could be and indicator your child is at risk online, according to a private investigator.
Parents are being warned to look out for certain emojis that online predators could be using to communicate in secret with children on apps such as WhatsApp and Snapchat.
Chris Thomas from UK Private Investigators says: “Parents are cautious and check photo messages, friends lists and even the content of messages, but you may not think to question what an emoji means. Predators know this, and that's why they use them.”
