Satchwell's ‘shrine' to Tina is revealed

THIS is the bizarre “shrine” to Tina Satchwell and her dead animals that murderer Richard Satchwell had placed just metres from where she was buried.

This newspaper can reveal the disturbing never-before-seen picture, which Satchwell sent to this reporter in July 2023-three months before he was arrested for murder, but at the time asked us not to publish.

The exact same photo was then shown in evidence in Satchwell's murder trial.

Lead investigator, Detective Garda David Kelleher, showed it to the jury.

Detective Gda Kelleher told the court he uncovered the image from a phone he seized from Mr Satchwell - and said the shrine was located on a table in the living area - the same room where the stairs and burial place of his wife at their home in Grattan Street, Youghal, Co Cork.
