Gardai on high alert after gang rammed vehicle
GARDAI are set to mount a major security operation - when an inmate who gangsters tried to spring from a prison van makes another court appearance.
The Mirror has learned that the suspect, who detectives believe was the reason for the ramming attack on the van in Co Monaghan last Wednesday, is to appear in court in coming days.
Sources said it is likely there will be an escort from the Garda Armed Support van that takes the suspect from a Dublin jail to a court in the Midlands.
