PAUL NICHOLLS has turned to former stable jockey Sam Twiston-Davies to fill the void left by Harry Cobden in next season's Grade 1 races.
After spending four years as Nicholls’ retained rider, Twiston-Davies, 33, went freelance in 2018, with Cobden taking over in the Ditcheat hot seat.
But Cobden’s new job with JP McManus has left a void and Nicholls, currently holidaying in Barbados, has moved to secure Twiston-Davies’ (right) services at Grade 1 level.
