Jon's a Major disappointment again, raising questions about tour's level

RAHM'S FEELING COST OF LIVIN

JON RAHM finished his final round at the Masters before leaders Rory Mcllroy and Cameron Young had even teed off.

The Spaniard pitched up at Augusta National with the belief that he would contend for a second Masters title.

But he was once again an also-ran at a Major. Rahm has not truly contended at any of the big four tournaments since his Masters victory in 2023, six months before he cashed in and joined LIV Golf.

The two-time Major champion has been dominant on the Saudi-funded breakaway league, banking huge cheques in winning the order of merit twice.

But he was a forgotten man here, finishing outside the top 40 at one over par.

Not long ago, he was the No.1 player in the world and part of a big three that included Mcllroy and Scottie Scheffler.
