ABSURDE is “in good shape" for the Melbourne Cup as Willie Mullins’ plan for world domination, boosted by Ethical Diamond's victory in the Breeders’ Cup Turf, returns to Flemington tomorrow.
Mullins broke new ground at Del Mar on Saturday night when Ethical Diamond, his first runner at the Breeders’ Cup, flew down the outside under Dylan Browne McMonagle to deny Rebel’s Romance a third Turf triumph.
