NOEL Gallagher has spoken for the first time about the Oasis reunion tour, revealing he was a nervous wreck on the first night, heaping praise on his brother Liam for "smashing it" at the stadium gigs.

The famously warring Gallagher brothers have made their peace and have walked out holding hands for every concert so far, in Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh, and London.

About their hugs on stage, Noel, 58, said: "We are not those kinda guys. But it is great just to be back with Bonehead [guitarist Paul Arthurs] and Liam and just be doing it again.

"I guess when it is all said and done we will reflect on it. It's good being back in the band with Liam, I forgot how funny he was."

On 52-year-old Liam's vocals, Noel said: "Liam is smashing it, I am proud of him. Having fronted a band for 16 years I know how hard that is. I couldn't do the stadium thing like he does, I have gotta say, man, I look at him and think, good for you, mate."
