'New president must call for a united Ireland'

THE next President of Ireland should use the office to advocate for Irish unification, First Minister Michelle O'Neill said yesterday.
The Sinn Fein vice president added the winner of next month's election must use their role as head of state to represent the interests of all citizens, including those living north of the border.
Mrs O'Neill said that should extend to playing a “role” in planning for an end to partition.
