New bomb threats made to Harris home

GARDAI were last night dealing with yet another threat to Tanaiste Simon Harris.

Sources have told this newspaper detectives attended the Fine Gael leader's home in Co Wicklow.

It’s understood warning calls were made to at least three Garda stations yesterday claiming a bomb was planted at his home.

Gardai went to the scene, but sources said neither Mr Harris nor any members of his family were there. Instead, they were in a secure location.

Yesterday's incident is the third threat against the politician in the last fortnight.
